1. Registration and Access

Step 1

Sign up to the API Marketplace

Click on the 'Register' button to access the registration page

Enter the requested details and submit the registration form

Reach out to [email protected] and [email protected] to request for portal access

Receiving Invite by Email

Your designated KAM coordinates with the internal team to provide the Transunion CIBIL API marketplace access. An invite will be sent to your official email address that you provide to the KAM

Once you click on the invite link, you will be directed to create an account to login to the portal.

2. Post Login

Post login please check the screen's top right side top menu.It should be mentioning the name of the organisation for which you are the Org Admin followed by the Unique Member Reference ID assigned by CIBIL.

Adding more users to your organisation
  • As an Admin user, you are granted access to ‘Add Users’ from your organization to this workspace by sending email invites. Click on Admin
  • As per TransUnion CIBIL Policy, you must send invites only to official mail IDs.
  • As Org Admin, you can modify your org’s user names, email IDs
  • Org admin has the rights to revoke the access

You will be guided to the below landing page where you can add multiple users to your organization and set roles to those users as well.

Org Developer – Only has rights to view the documentation

When invites are sent to multiple users, this is how the below User section looks. There is no limit on the number of users that can be added to the organisation as long as they adhere to the terms and conditions.

Admin users can modify the user’s email address or choose to revoke access from the API Marketplace by clicking on the ‘Sandwich button’

Admins can also modify a particular user's rights by upgrading the user as the organisations' admin.

When the edit option as shown above is clicked, user is navigated to the below screen

Browsing the API Documentation

By clicking on the API option on the main home page, you will be able to view all the available APIs on the portal

All available APIs are visible in the API section in the format as shown below

Clients will be able to have a glance at all the short descriptions of the APIs available to get a gist of the different product offerings before deep diving to view the detailed documentation against each API

Upon clicking on the API, the client is directed to the detailed documentation section where he will be able to view the following

  • The Swagger documentation – check the mandatory, non-mandatory fields and view the request response structure
  • The Documentation section – Field value codes, different error codes, FAQs etc
TRY IT OUT Feature

A Sandbox environment has been created using synthetic data

  1. By clicking on the Try it out tab, client will be able to view the request and response that has been created in this Sandox environment
  2. The data being used here is synthetic data for reference and not actual personal information
3. API Subscription / Integration Process
Integration Process

The next step is to connect your UAT and production Infrastructure with the Transunion CIBIL Gateway. To initiate the onboarding process, please email your KAM

UAT API Subscription

Now that the one time integration with UAT and production has happened, you can send an email to your KAM to get access to the APIs on the UAT environment.

Production API Subscription

This request is also handled by the KAM.

Please ensure that any request for subscription to APIs on production is raised only by Organisation's Org Admin or Backup Admin
